- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: W9124X-05-T-0026 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect throughout Federal Acquisition Circular 05-03. This combined synopsis/solicita tion is issued for competition as unrestricted. CLIN 0001: Boot, Army Combat, desert tan, hot weather, non-steel, lightweight, breathable, welt construction, speed lace, nylon quarter panels, unlined. Suggested Make, Addison Model #HW-NS or equal. Quantity of 3000 pair as specified in Attachment identifying required sizes. Attachment must be obtained through written request addressed to the point of contact identified at the end of this synopsis. Requests are accepted by e-mail and by fax, though e-mail is preferred. Government desires delivery within twenty-one (21) days After Receipt of Order (ARO) to 2452 Fairview Drive, Carson City, NV 89701. Please state as a separate line item any additional costs quoted in order to meet the need by date. The ability to meet t he need-by date is important. Therefore the Government may consider acceptance of partial shipments. However ability to meet the need-by date and shipment are not considered as evaluation factors for award. Award will be on a Firm Fixed Price basis, and the Government anticipates awarding without discussions as identified in FAR 52.212-1(g). Evaluation for award will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999) as follows: (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in descending order of importance: (i) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement; (ii) price; All quotes must be inclusive of all boot sizes, multiple awards will not be considered. The selected Offeror must comply with the following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and identified Supplements. As stated in FAR 52.252-1 and 52.252-2, the full text any FAR or a DFARS clause or provision may be accessed electronically at http://fars ite.hill.af.mil. FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-3-Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items is to be completed and submitted with quote.
