- Description
- The Texas Army National Guard Medical Department has a requirement for onsite digital scanning of approximately 16,000 existing permanent medical records at Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas. Each record contains an average of 100 pages. The work will includ e mechanical document preparation, scanning, quality control activities, and indexing th digital images into iPERMS, the Army system which stores permanent records, to include medical records. The contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor , supplies, materials and equipment requiredd to perform the services. Offerors are notified that the acquisition is subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 15.3, Source Selection. Offerors m ust be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA)and ensure the information posted is current. Potential Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract .It is anticipated that the solicitation will be avalable for release on or abouot 13 September 2005. The solicitation and any related documents for this acquisition will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal business Opportunities (FedBizOps) at http://www.eps.gov/. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerors shall be responsible for monitoring the internet site for release of the solicitation, amendments (if applicable) and responses to any questions submitted in accordance with the solicitation procedures.
