Description

NOTICE OF INTENT - US Army Field Support Command intends to award a sole source contract. The Government intends to solicit/negotiate/award on a sole source basis with American Society for Quality (ASQ) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The require ment is for Green Belt, Six Sigma training. As a proponent for quality management and quality standard development in the United States, ASQ is the only source qualified and no other source will satisfy the agency requirements at this time. This notice of intent to purchase is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally b e considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
