- The Center for Health Care Contracting, 2107 17th street, bldg 4197, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source contract to the American College of Surgeons, 633 N Saint Claire St #2600, Chicago IL, 60611-3211. This requirement is for Ad vanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Textbooks/Manuals and associated shipping costs. These books are used for classes provided by the Defense Medical Readness Training Institute for the DoD and Department of the Army. These Textbooks/Manuals enable Military Physicians, DoD civilians, and medical specialist to recieve certifications, and continuing education credits. A one year contract is anticipated with a period of performance being from 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06. The Authority to make a sole source contr act is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1.
