- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to make a sole source purchase for 18kW Diesel Generator from Fischer Panda Generators Inc, 4345 NE 12th Terrace, Oakland Park, FL 33334. This is the only known item that can meet the Government?s minimum requirements as follows: operates on diesel fuel or JP-5; emits less than 57dBa at 7 meters; and provides 18kW of power and is designed to meet and has been tested in military operational environments. This item will be acquired utilizing ! Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date is 14 Sep 05 with an anticipated award date of 15 Sep 05. All items are to be priced FOB Destination. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. DOD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database. Registration can be completed by accessing the CCR Web Site at http://www.ccr.gov.
