Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Fort Bliss Directorate of Contracting is soliciting for a quantity of 62 - 8 foot, 6 inch poles with chrome tip and ferrule; a quantity of 30 - 9 foot, 6 inch poles with chrome tip an d ferrule; a quantity of 62 - guidons CAV STB BSB as per unit description; a quantity of 21 - web harness OD green; a quanity of 14 - national colors with fringe 3x5; a quantity of 21 - flag covers OD green; a quantity of 90 - streamers various citations a nd awards; a quantity of 1 - 4 BDE BSTB 1 CAV; a quantity of 2 - 4th SBTB 1 CAV; a quantity of 1 - 1/9 CAV Regimental colors; a quantity of 1 - 2/7 CAV Regimental colors; a quantity of 1 - 2/12 CAV Regimental colors; a quantity of 2 - 5/82 CAV Regimenta l colors; and quantity of 1 - 27 BSB 1 CAV Colors. If selected, the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR at http://www.ccr.gov) in order to receive the award at the time of selection. All items must be delivered to th e 4th Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Bliss, Texas, no later than 7 October 2005. The solicitation is issued as an RFQ. THe following provisions and clauses apply: FAR Clause 52.232-33, 52.212-4, 252.2004-7004, Required Central Contractor Registrati on. The preferred method of submission is electronic email to jeanne.short@us.army.mil or by fax to 915-568-6111. The award will be made on the aggregate of the requirement and will be a firm-fixed price contract. The Government will make a best value a ward resulting from this solicitation to the offeror who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government considering price. Quotes are due 12 September 2005, 4:00 p.m. local time.
