Description

This modification corrects the entire description block of the original synopsis for HM165305T0006 as follows: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for brand name commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) HM165305T0006. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. The NAICS code is 511210 and the size standard is $21M. The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) plans to issue a pruchase order under the test program described in FAR 13.5 for the contractor to provide the following items: CLIN 0001AA is for 24 Each Onyx Postershop 6.0 commercial software licenses. Software will be modified upon installation to delete print drivers, configuring the software to contain print drivers for Hewlett Packard (HP) print drivers ONLY. Software will be installed on workstations that have a CPU with 40 GB of memory, 1 GB of RAM, and 17” flatscreen monitors manufactured by HP. Of the 24 copies, 9 will be installed on workstations consisting of the above equipment. These 9 copies must have the ability to print to several plotters at once w/o locking up the print server. The Government will install the remaining 15 copies in computer labs. CLIN 0002AA is for lump sum installation and modification costs to reconfigure Onyx 6.0 Postershop as described in CLIN 0001AA above. Delivery of software and installation/modification is to be completed within 30 days after award. Installation shall be performed at the Defense Geospational Intelligence School (DGS) located in Ft. Belvoir, VA. Technical contact point at DGS is SFC Jeremy Culp, (703) 805-2545. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a single award made to that responsive/responsible offeror who offers the lowest price for all items. ALL OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISION AT FAR 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS—COMMERCIAL ITEMS, WITH THEIR OFFER. The FAR clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
