Description

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to negotiate a single source purchase order under GSA schedule with Technology Service Corporation (TSC) located at 1900 S. Sepulveda Blvd, Suite 300, Los Angeles, CA 90025-5659, as a follow on effort for testing and installation at JFK airport of TSC?s newly developed Airport Security Display Processor (ASDP); a stand-alone signal processor and display system which provides perimeter intrusion detection. The proposed period of performance is four (4) months from date of contract award. The ASDP signal processor, designed and developed by TSC, is an independent, parallel processor designed specifically for security applications. The ASDP system burn-in testing and optimization testing & evaluation (OT&E) can be performed by TSC only due to the fact that TSC is the original ASDP system developer. No other organization is permitted to modify the system. The TSA knows of no other vendor with the unique set of skills and system knowledge possessed by TSC. The cost and time that would be required for another company to acquire the skills needed to perform the proposed work is prohibitive.
