Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Healthcare System of Ohio Network (VISN 10) (hereafter refer to as VA) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Service Contract to a qualified, responsive, responsible firm for the services involving the furnishing and 24-hour maintenance service for SMARTNET Hardware/Software equipment. The contractor shall provide networking (data, video and voice) services for the following VA locations: Brecksville, OH; Cleveland, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Chillicothe, OH, Columbus, OH and Dayton, OH. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, transportation, technical expertise, and other services necessary to maintain network systems, tasks and functions. The contractor must perform to the standards identified in the Schedule and in accordance with all the terms, provisions and conditions of the resulting contract. This solicitation is restricted to service disabled veteran owned small business concerns (SDVSB). FAR 19.1405 Service-disabled veteran-owned small business set-aside procedures will be used. This solicitation can be downloaded from this web site on or about September 16, 2005. Offeror shall follow the instructions indicated in the solicitation regarding submission of offers. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.501(a)(1), test program, using simplified acquisition procedures and Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICS code for this is 423430 and size standards is 100 employees.
