Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This VA Medical Center is seeking upgrade the Secure Care 1000DE Wangerguard system to a 13.5 MHz ID system in the NHCU (Nursing Home Care Unit), Floors 2D, 3B, 3E, and 4E Location. The system must include four (4) one channel sounders (SC A02070900), thirty-two (32) SC A03290920 135 ID Exit Receivers (13.5 MHz with Vdc PS), thirty-two (32) SC A05281822 13.5 MHz ID decoder chip, thirty-two (32) SC A05286812 13.5 ID Exit Firmware, thirty-two (32) SC C40500924 135 Power Supply for ID Exit Panel 15V, thirty-two (32) A03290027 13.5 DC Line Filter and fifty (50) A20280920 13.5 Mhz ID transmitters. The NAICS Code is 423450, with a small business size standard of 500 people. The proposed solicitation listed herein will be issued as a 100% total small business set-aside. A Firm Fixed price contract will be awarded. (b) The copy of any protest shall be received in the office designated above within one day of filing a protest with the GAO; 852.233-70 Protest Content; 852.233-71 Alternative Protest Procedure; 52.232-18 Availability of Funds; 852.270-1 Representatives of Contracting Officers; 852.270-4 Commercial Advertising; 852.211-71(A) Guarantee; 52.228-5 Insurance-Work on a Government Installation; Supplemental Insurance Requirement. In accordance with FAR 28.307-2 the successful bidder must present to the Contracting Officer, prior to award, evidence of general liability insurance without any exclusionary clauses for asbestos that would void the general liability coverage. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is determined to be most advantageous to the Government.
