Description

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Lionville Systems Inc. to provide (11) iCart Systems for the VAMC Madison, 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705-2254. To the best of our knowledge, Lionville Systems Inc. is the only manufacture or company that offers iCart Systems that will interface and is compatible with existing medication carts. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Contract type is firm-fixed price and the NAICS Code is 334510. Equipment required for this location must have keyless lock entry, lockable medication drawers, medication drawers that interchange with existing equipment, and small footprint to take to patient?s bedside. The new equipment must be compatible and interface with existing medication carts. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 5000 W. National Ave Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Intron Corporation.
