Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to Moore Wallace for 2850 fire evacuation signs.This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition.The anticipated award date is 14 Sep 2005. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The contractor will provide the following items: create and Design Evacuation Signs, 8.5 x 11, 5-color Adhesive Signs per submitted files with rolls of adhesive dots to go on "You are Here" for each room,different compositions.Design to include: proofs of layouts including: stairwells, fire extinguishers, alarm pulls,and "You are Here" symbols. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15 and DFARS Change Notice 20030722, Standard Industrial Code 3993,North American Industry Classification System Code 339950 for this procurement.
