Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR HIGH-SPEED CAMERA. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/solicitation and a written amendment will not be issued. This is a modification to the synopsis entitled HIGH-SPEED CAMERA, NNA0522723Q which was posted on September 1, 2005. You are notified that the following information is provided to augment the initial synopsis/solicitation: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS TO SUBMITTED QUESTIONS Q1. How many cameras will be used for the 3D analysis? A1. The solicitation is for the procurement of one (1) high-speed camera. Q2. What 3D analysis software will be used? A2. The software that will be used is the operator software for Windows 2000 or XP. Q3. In regards to the camera sensor state, RGB color with BAYER filter or 8 Bit monochrome, is this a color camera with the ability to 'turn off' the color and achieve monochrome video? Please confirm. A3. We just need a monochrome camera with 10 bit resolution. Q4. In regards to "the need for on-board FPGA to process camera data in real-time using special processing routines," please provide more data. A4. FPGA should be 2 million gates or larger -- preferably a Xilinx high speed chip. END OF QUESTION SET ONE Any further questions must be submitted in writing (email) to Steven.M.Yee@nasa.gov by 12:00 noon PST on September 12, 2005. The due date for offers is extended until September 13, 2005 by 12:00 noon PST. Offers shall be submitted to Steven Yee by any of the following: mailed to at Ames Research Center, Mail Stop 241-1, Moffett Field, CA 94035-1000, emailed to Steven.M.Yee@nasa.gov or fax to 650-604-3020 and must include, solicitation number, amendment acknowledgement, FOB destination to Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/ARC Business Opportunities home page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=21 Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments.
