Description
This is an amendment to the previous combined synopsis/solicitation. The text below is in response to questions from the site visit that was conducted on 7 Sep 05 for solicitation FA7012-05-T-0065 – Furniture Request for Military Personnel Flight (MPF) Pentagon: 1. QUESTION: Will we receive a before and after drawing of the space to be able to quote the reconfiguration stated it the statement of work? ANSWER: There is a possibility that we may not have a drawing ready before the closing date of the solicitation but we are coordinating to obtain an after drawing. 2. QUESTION: Will the service be a one-phase project? ANSWER: Yes, although it may take more than one day to complete. 3. QUESTION: What are the requirements for deliveries to the pentagon? ANSWER: We will coordinate directly with the winning contractor. Basically, we will need the names/SSANs of their staff and vehicle identification of trucks, etc that will be used during this project to secure Pentagon and Pentagon Dock clearance. 4. QUESTION: Just to confirm that Natco product is to be quoted and not a substitute. ANSWER: Yes, Natco products are to be used (brand name as stated in the combined synopsis) to provide an exact match to the existing furniture already in use in our organization. 5. QUESTION: What are we suppose to do with the product that will be left over after the reconfiguration. ANSWER: Nothing, the Government will coordinate storage space, disposal, etc as necessary. The closing date and time of 12 Sep 05, 4:00 p.m. EST remains unchanged.
