- ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS: Does the government want the hand held system, the 800 phone number service or both. ANSWER: We want both handheld and the 800 number service. Re: pg 2, 1.1.1. The contractor shall provide timely, accurate, and complete medical transcription services/reports in support of the 16th Medical Group at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Contractor shall provide medical transcription services from dictation (e.g., voice recordings, hand written notes, or typed drafts), which covers a wide range of medical specialties. The Contractor shall transcribe all dictation in the correct Government required format as specified by this contract. What is the mode of delivery for hand written notes and typed drafts? ANSWER: They will be faxed to the company, so we need a good 800 fax number to send to. Re: pg 8, 5.3.3.1 DOCUMENTS TO BE PRINTED HARDCOPY. The Contractor will print out the electronically submitted documents received from the Contractor's facility and distribute the documents daily. Would you please clarify paragraph 5.3.3.1. ANSWER: Delete this paragraph and make sure it's not on the service delivery summary. Re: pg 9, 5.3.6. CONTRACTOR SYSTEMS. The Contractor shall provide all supplies and equipment, including maintenance for their systems, equipment, dictation tracking, and the interface with Government systems. What type of interface are you referring to? ANSWER: Delete the reference to "interface with Government systems" piece. Re: pg 9, 5.3.6.1. The Contractor will provide/maintain input devices for all 16 MDG providers. In the event of loss, breakage or damaged equipment, contractor shall provide replacement device within five (5) work days of notification. There will be an Electronic Signature for each dictation device. Do the providers/dictators currently utilize hand held recorders. If yes, are they digital or analog (use tapes)? ANSWER: We currently do not have any dictation capability/hardware. Does "Electronic Signature for each dictation device" refer to ESA for hand held digital recorders utilizing docking stations ? ANSWER: Yes Also in reference to ESA capability from a web browser. How many ESA licenses will be required. ANSWER: Enough to cover the amount of providers listed on the SOW.
