Description

This notice is to seek qualified sources: The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to study Selenium speciation and bioaccumulation testing. Task include collection of data on Selenium concentrations, speciation and bioaccumulation in two pilot scale treatment systems and one evaporation pond system receiving effluent from the northerly Applied Biosciences ASBR treatment system. These data will be used to identify appropriate parameters for the assessment of ecological risk due to Selenium, to calculate mitigation needs, and to assist in the understanding of the Selenium treatment process. Any concern believing that it can provide the required service must provide supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirement. A firm-fixed price is contemplated and request for quotations will issue no earlier than five (5) days after publication of this notice.
