- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The NAICS code for the requirement is 423110 with a size standard of 500. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) assigned rating is N/A. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05. Description of Requirement: For the acquisition of one Brand Name (1) ?The Barton? LSV by B.I.G. Man Four-Wheel Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) with a 25-mile per hour (mph) speed capability but not to exceed 25 mph; and must comply with Federal Safety standards established in 49 CFR 571.500 to include the following features: 1) 48-Volt System Charger (i.e. 110 Volt Household Outlet); 2) DC 48 Volt Separately Excited Motor; 3) Up to 75 mile Range on Full Battery Charge; 4) Automotive Style Headlights; 5) Key Controlled Electronic Transmission; 6) Back-up Indicator w/Audible & Visual Alert; 7) Automotive Windshield Wipers; 8) 4 Wheel Hydraulic Brakes; 9) Heavy Duty Aluminum Frame; 10) Five Passenger Capacity; 11) Forward Flip Front Seat; 12) Bodies will have U.V. Resistant Gel Coat Colors - must be colors Air Force Blue and White; 13) Stainless Steel Corrosive Resistant Fasteners; 14) Must have soft doors and heater; 15) and a Full charge time at 110 volts should amount to 10-hours or less. Delivery shall be FOB F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The following is a list of the contract Line Items: CLIN 0001: 1 each Barton? LSV by B.I.G. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR); the web site for registration is http://www.ccr.gov if registration has not been accomplished.
