Description

89th Contracting Squadron, Andrews AFB, Maryland intends to issue a sole source contract to Rockwell Collins, Inc. for Maintenance and repair of Rockwell Collins receivers. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The required services includes providing all management services, technical support, personal, equipment, materials, part, tool, labor, transportation, and other services to maintain and repair the following equipment: Receiver, P/N GST-2000; 47 each; Receiver, P/N GST-DC-40-60, 43 each; Receiver, P/N GST-ADD-2000, 51 each; Receiver, P/N GST-DC-18-40, 42 each; Receiver, P/N GST-DC-2-18, 47 each; and Receiver, P/N GST-PC, 38 each; at Andrews AFB, MD. The period of performance of any resulting contract will be 15 September 2005 through 31 August 2006. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received from this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The assigned Contracting Specialist is Trunita Plummer.
