- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The refernce number is F2P1G15144A100. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-05 and DFARS DCN 20050901 Edition. All responsible sources shall submit a written proposal, which will be considered. Facsimile submissions will also be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the solicitation is 335311. This combined synopsis/solicitation is restricted to the UK. Item/Services Description: The contractor shall provide technicians, equipment, materials, management, supervision, and instructors necessary to maintain the audio and visual equipment in the Strike Eagle Theater listed below for a period of three years: 2 Infocus projectors 2 Motorized screens 2 Crestron remote controllers 2 Monitors in podiums Crestron control processor - CPZE Crestron volume equalizer - C2N-VEQ4 Pream - microphone preamp - RUSMP2 2 JVC VCRS - HRV605 2 Marantz DVD players - DV4300 Kramer 4x4 VGA/XGA audio matrix - UP-4x43 Kramer 10x2 video/balanced audio mixer - VS-1002X Interm RS300 Ampliefer Interm PA-9312 PA Power Amp Microphones Speaker system Performance of work: 48 hour response to call outs with emergency calls catered for Technician transportation for call outs Instructions on equipment operation Free replacement of parts 24 hour technical support line Annual penetrative maintenance visit Loner equipment if required FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price offer. FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of quotations or offerors The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offer whose offer conforming to the solicitation will provide the best value to the government. The government reserves the right to make award to other than the low bidder. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Offerors shall include with the submission of their offer a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications of Commercial Items.
