Description
These Feedcones were previously solicited in solicitation W15P7T-05-L016. Solicitation W15P7T-05-L016 was cancelled. It should be noted that the solicitation will be posted on the IBOP. ALL BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA THE IBOP. NO OTHER FORM OF SUBMISSION WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO LATE BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED. The procedure of acquisition will be a competitive Small Business Set Aside. Drawings are available upon request via e-mail. Direct all requests for drawings and/or questions to Contract Specialist Brett Schwerin brett.schwerin@us.army.mil. This acquisition is for an estimated quantity of up to 60,000 OE-254/GRC Feedcone Assemblies in accordance with government part numbers. The method of acquisition will be a Firm-Fixed-Priced, Requirements type contract with one base year and four option y ears. The OE-254/GRC Feedcone Assembly is part of the AS-3166/GRC antenna system. The OE-254/GRC is a broadband, omni-directional, bi-conical antenna with three upward and three downward extended radial elements connected to a cone at each end with cent e r hub insulation. The extended radial elements project at an angle of 30 degrees from true vertical, and the lengths are permanently adjusted to provide an impedance match over the frequency range from 30 to 88 MHz. The AS-3166/GRC antenna is used for ta ctical radio communications and is used with the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System and other tactical radios that operate in the same frequency band. Destinations are unknown at this time.
