Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency [U S EPA] Environmental Sciences Division [ESD] is seeking a Purge and Trap concentrator compatible with Agilent 6890N Gas Chromatograph and Varian Archon and O.I. Model 4552 soil/water autosamplers. Operating System must be Windows 2000/XP compatible. Minimum trap heating capabilities of 800?C/min. Minimum trap cooling capabilities of -200?C/min. Water management system capable of removing a minimum of 96% of purged water. Concentrator must have ability to sense foaming of sample, try to alleviate the foam, and/or shut the system down before the foam contaminates the sample pathway. Concentrator must have an on-trap injection port. Award will be based on compliance with the specifications above; a short delivery time is preferred. Price must be FOB destination. Price is less important than compliance with specifications and delivery time. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541710.
