Description

The Defense Distribution Depot Norfolk, VA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all part, labor, equipment, and material needed to install three (3) rolling grill security gates. Work shall include all electrical conduit, wiring, and controls for the motors and operators, guide rails, curtains, jambs, and all associated hardware for complete and usable functioning grill gates. Sites visits are recommended to confirm the sizes of the door openings, availability of electrical power, and any other unforeseen site conditions. All work shall meet industry guidelines, NEC, and current DLA standards for security. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990 and the small business size standard is $12.0 million. All responsible business concerns may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to receiving an award for this acquisition. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-800-227-2423, or via the internet @ www.ccr.gov. It is anticipated that solicitation SP3100-05-T-0544 will be posted to this site on or around September 20, 2005. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this site.
