Description

The 7th Bomb Wing established the Commander?s Operational Picture (COP) office with the specific guidance to implement the policies, guide strategic planning, acquisition, and integration of the COP system into an operational environment. One of the major tenets of this framework is the management of information and knowledge. The 7th Bomb Wing (7 BW) COP Office has directed the 7th Communications Squadron to take control of the COP and Dyess Decision Support Tool Set (DSTS) processes within Dyess AFB. As the 7 CS is not manned with an Air Force web programmer/database administrator to accomplish the task, contractor support is required. The Statement of Work covers planning, implementation planning and support tasks associated with maintaining effective COP/DSTS policy, organizational structure, and associated mechanisms and processes on behalf of the 7th Communications Squadron. Initially, work will be focused on COP/DSTS: its conceptual design, sustainment and maintenance, maturation, and integration support for the 7th Bomb Wing Commander?s Operational Picture and Dyess Decision Support Tool Set. Tasks include supporting the operation and maintenance of the COP/DSTS, resources, integrating other 7 BW COP/DSTS identified web-based and non-web-based tools, and providing strategic/tactical COP/DSTS master planning schedule development and maintenance. Integral to the COP/DSTS effort is the technical and analytic support required to maintain and improve 7 BW COP/DSTS architecture, system design, system development, programming, training, and server administration.
