- Amendment 001 to Synopsitation FA8601-05-T-0198 Due to FBO transmission problems, date/time for submission of quotes is changed to Wednesday, 14 Sep 05, 3:00 pm EST. **************************************************************************** ** SYNOPSITATION FOR HIGH POWER FIBER AMPLIFIERS FA8601-05-T-0198 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for 2 Each High Power Fiber Amplifiers, a commercial commodity to be procured for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Due date for quotes, technical package, reference information, and completed 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, is Monday, 12 Sep 05, 3:00 pm EST. Quote package should be submitted to 88 CONS/PKBB (Helen Williams), 1940 Allbrook Drive, Room 109, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433, or faxed to 937-656-1412, or e- mailed to Helen.Williams@wpafb.af.mil. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA8601-05-T-0198 is a Request for Quote (RFQ). No hard copies will be sent. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05. Proposed acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The associated North American Industrial Code (NAIC) is 335921, size standard 1,000 employees applies. INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS: A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated with 1 line item (0001) for 2 (two) Each High Power Fiber Amplifiers. Minimum system requirements are attached at www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. A line-by-line response to each paragraph of the minimum specs document and descriptive literature must be submitted in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the minimum requirements. Offerors must submit the name, company name, and phone number for at least one reference. This reference must have experience with the product being offered. Offerors must complete the fill-ins at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, which is attached at www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. This document must be submitted with quote package. NOTICE: Any order awarded as a result of this synopsitation will contain the requirement for use of the Government's electronic invoicing system, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Instructions on use of WAWF will be contained in subsequent order document.
