- The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions from contractors concerning this Request for Quotations(RFQ). Questions and Answers 13 Sep 2005 Q. 1. Are the fiber cables Plenum or Riser? A. 1. Plenum or Riser will be fine. Q. 2. What is the boot color? A. 2. Any color will be fine. Q. 3. Are the cables simplex or duplex? A. 3. Duplex Q. 4. Line Item 6: It specifies part number F635-D12BB0. I can not find F635 on the Stonewall Cable part number scheme. I believe it was supposed to be 625 like the others. Then the BB is for ST-ST but the description calls for ST-SC. A. Line item #6 needs to ST-SC Q. 1. Do you need APC or PC polish on SM connectors? If PC polish, do you need Supper polish (Return Loss >/=45dB ) or Ultra polish (Return Loss >/=50dB) Is there any other special requirements on Return or Insertion Loss? A. Super polish (return loss >/=45db).
