Description

Synopsis The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Precision Filters, Inc., 240 Cherry Street, Ithaca, NY. The contract is to procure ten (10) Input, Output BNC Patch Panel, ten (10) Input Patch Cables for 28334 Dual Mode Cards, and fifty (50) Input Patch Cables. These cables must have identical physical dimensions for interchangeability, be identical electronically in performance and standards and contain a EMI back shell. The cable s must also include multiple pairs of twisted shielded conductors (one end un-terminated; the other with the correct type and style of connector) and exact numbering/labeing schemes for patch panels and cables. The cables must provide the interchangeabilit y in form, fit and function capabilities with pre-existing 28000-signal conditioner units currently in use at USAYPG to perform critical tests. All data relative to the cables and panels are proprietary to Precision Filters, Inc. as the original end-item m anufacturer. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm posseses the ability to provide these item, interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability of meeting the Governments r equirement by 20 September 2005, 12:00 PM noon MST. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for receipt of proposa ls for consideration is seven (7) days instead of forty-five (45) days.
