Description
1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propos als are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W), in support of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, The Office of Policy is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) to support the requirement summarized below. This RFQ will be UNRESTRICTED. Contract type is firm-fixed price with travel as a cost reimbursable. The period of performance will be for a base period of 12 months with four (4) one-year options periods. Expected performance to begin 30 September 2005 3. The objectives of this project is to provide support to the Secretary of Defense Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (SecDefRep). Assist the SecDefRep in developing and communicating concepts, and policies, Assist in completing analyses to meet SecDefRep requirements, including quick-action, short notice tasking which affect policies and other national security issues, projects, and programs. Update and document changes to the appropriate policy directives and impl ementing instructions. The second objective is driver support. Provide driver support to the SecDefRep and dignitaries visiting the SecDefRep when attending official meeting and functions. Maintain the Policy leased vehicle in clean and serviceable conditi on to include performing minor preventive maintenance. 4.
