Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract to Alliant Integrated Defense Company for the production and delivery of a maximum of 600 computer processors, 400 retrofit kits, 2200 sensors, 600 control indicators, test sets, associated technical data and computer software, and ancillary support, including integrated logistics and reliability/maintainability, quality assurance, and configuration management programs in support of the AN/AAR-47V(2) Missile Approach Warning Set (MAWS). This effort will consist of a base year and four option years. The quantities listed above include the maximum cumulative amount for the base year and the four option years. Alliant is the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AAR-47 MWS and is the only source with the personnel, facilities and knowledge to fulfill this requirement.
