Description

Modification 01: This is a modification to subject solicitation posted in FEDBizOpps on September 9, 2005. The due date for submission of quotations is changed to read: 22 September 2005, 2:00 PM CT. Quotations can be faxed to (270) 798-3987; maili ng address is Directorate of Contracting, 13 ½ Street, Building 2176, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This requirement is 100% setaside for small business concerns. NAICS is 333611, small business size is 1000 employees. This modification is a combined synopsi s/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Associated information can be downloaded from doc.campbell.army.mil under solicitation number listed above. The following information is added to the specification for the generator sets: The generator set shall have ins talled a Voltage Selector switch, for the following voltages; 120/240 single phase, 120/208 3 phase and 277/480 three phase ac. Also, The generator set engine must be certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to conform to Tier 2 nonroad emis sions regulations. Add the following item: Six (6) each Tandem Axle Generator Transport Trailer; the specifications are as follows: Gross vehicle weight rating of 14,000 lbs, using drop axles and leaf spring suspension; All wheel electric brakes and DOT lighting package with all wiring protected within the trailer frame; 6 structural rectangular tube steel main frame; Adjustable height Pintle hook tow coupler and 7,000 lb. rated drop foot tongue jack with sandshoe; Heavy duty tread plate steel fenders wi th tread plate steel steps front and rear; Built in fuel supply tank with capacity of 250 gallons. Tanks are pressure tested and certified to 5 psi.; Built in fuel supply tanks shall be double wall; The fuel supply tank is a separate component from the tr ailer frame; Interior ant-slosh baffles inside of the fuel tank; Low fuel level alarm sensor set to 1/3 of the tanks capacity with normally open contacts rated at 30 watts; Direct reading mechanical level gauge; Padlockable pressure vacuum relief, fill ca p; Supply and return ports with bottom siphon tubes sized per the engines requirements; Frame mounted system grounding lug; Four point tie down provisions rated for the complete systems wet weight; Two part epoxy primer and high gloss back polyurethane to pcoat finish; Rear Leveling / Stabilizer Jacks; Cable storage box with hinged, padlockable lid. Delivery time shall not exceed 10 weeks from date of award. GENERATORS AND ALL OTHER SPEFICIED AND NON-SPECIFIED COMPONENTS MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FORT CAMPBELL DESIGN GUIDE AND ALL TESTING MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORT CAM PBELL DESIGN GUIDE.
