Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.603 and supplemented with information included in this notice. This announcement is the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested. This requirement, number FA4427-05-Q-0058, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05 and Defense DCN 20050901. This solicitation/acquisition will be unrestricted with regard to business size standards. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is Q526. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 8322. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 624190. This RFQ consists of the following item. Item 0001 Services nonpersonal: contractor to provide a Sexual Assault Response Team to examine patients and alleged perpetrators an estimated thirteen (13) times during the period 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06. Note that funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
