Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propos als are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912JD-05-T-0075. This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS is 488991 and the size standard is $18.5M. This requirement is to pack and create sensitive laboratory equipment and instruments at the Air Force Fuels Laboratory in Searsport, ME. Contractor will then be responsible to shipping items to Ohio, Florida and California. Offerors must include a compl eted copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and the clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. See copy of the solicitation for other applicable clause. There will be a single site visit on September 16, 2005, at 0900 hrs EST. The site visit location is 58 Trundy Road, Bldg 14, Searsport, ME.
