- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price 100% Small Business Set-Aside Contract for the Repair, Inspection and Maintenance of a hydraulic powered, roller chain to rail driven freight/passenger elevator and the Mobile Exterior Test Platform (METP). Contractor shall have a minimum of 3 years experience working with these specialized elevators. Estimated period of performance is eighty (80) days. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F1T2BR5143A300. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
