Description
PROJECT TITLE: Fixed Wing Runway at Michael Army Airfield, Phase 2 LOCATION: Dugway, Utah JOB DESCRIPTION: Demolish and reuse the existing 13,125 asphalt runway pavement. Demolish and salvage the existing hangar at the southeast section of the existing main runway. Develop a quarry at the Manookin Road pit for the purpose of providing aggrega te and sand materials for the construction of the new runway. Construct a new water well at the Manookin Road pit in support of the quarry operation. Construct a haul road off the existing roadways approximately 11.5 miles from Manookin Road to the airfiel d. Construct a new 11,000 x 150 runway at the location of the demolished runway: 2000 feet at each end will be full width PCC pavement, centerline PCC keel section shall be 75 feet wide for the interior 7000 feet of runway, remaining runway width and sho ulders shall be AC pavement. Install lighting and navigation aids for the new runway. Construct footings and relocate the restraining chain from the interim runway to the new main runway. Construct a new electrical vault building to house the electrical eq uipment for the current phase 2 project, space for the phase 3 electrical equipment and relocate the required phase 1 equipment from the existing vault to the new vault. Construct a new decontamination pad (250 x 400) with connector taxiway from the new main runway to the pad. ESTIMATED COST RANGE OF PROJECT: ($10,000,000 - $25,000,000) This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Y129, SIC CODE: 1611, NAICS Code: 237310. The size standard for this code is $28,500.000.00.
