- Description
- The contractor shall provide sufficient qualified and trained management, supervision, and personnel necessary to perform food service Mess Attendant Services. Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: serving and replenishing food; cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils; preparing vegetable, meats and fruits; bussing tables in dining areas, performing cashier services, handling foods, supplies, and equipment; maintaining quality control; ensuring operator maintenance and minor/major repair of food service equipment, appliances, and furniture; decorating facilities; and in the event of contingency, perform all required tasks to include cooking to ensure continued service. The contract will be for a basic period of 12 months with four, one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 722310 with corresponding size standard of $17.5 Mil. This project is 100% set-aside under the Competitive 8A Program. The solicitation will be posted at FedBiz Ops (http://www.eps.gov) electronically, on or about 9 March 05. It is anticipated that a firm, fixed-price (FFP) contract will be awarded. NO HARD COPIES will be provided. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE). All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by this Agency. The government award will be based on the best value with the evaluation factors to be set forth in the solicitation.
