Description

The purpose of this message is to clarify BAA Solicitation DAAB07-03-R-P650, Topic # S0404 Software Defined Radio. Amendment A00004 was issued December 9, 2003 with proposals to be submitted NLT COB 16 Jan 04. That specific technical based amendment was issued only with the intent of developing a prototype Power Amplifier (PA) capable of operating between 400 to 970 M Hz and 1200 to 2000 MHz. This specific requirement of Amendment A00004 does not cancel out the original intent of the basic Topic S0404 Software Defined Radio that is still active. Each of the 25 Topics stands on its own for the submission of white papers / and or proposals. Each of the 25 CECOM CERDEC S&TCD Topics has its own suspense date for FY 04 with their own individual suspense dates and proposal/white paper procedures. The ma jority of the topic suspense dates is 14 May 2004 for FY 2004 requirements and associated funding including BAA Topic S0404. Proposals may be submitted at any time during the life of this BAA. However, proposals should not be submitted any later than 14 May per year to be considered for award in the fiscal year of submission. The Government may award a contract, based on a proposal received in response to this BAA, anytime during the life of this BAA.
