- Description
- QUESTIONS/ANSWERS FROM SITE SURVEY CONDUCTED SEPTEMBER 9, 2005 Q1: What is the make/model/part number for the JBL speakers? A1: JBL Control Contractor Ceiling Loudspeakers /24CT Q2: Based on the number of microphones and speakers, is the XAP 800 required, or can another mixer with less capability be used? A2: No, the XAP 800 is no longer required. Q3: What is the make/model number/part number for the Extron VGA Amp? A3: Cross Point/ 88-IVA Q4: What is the make/model/ part number of the ceiling mounted microphones? A4: Ceiling mics are no longer a requirement. (request two Polycom P/N 2201-09174-004) Mics on Table will be sufficient. Q5: Will this application work as ISDN or IP? A5: ISDN Q6: Since the PolyCom ViewStation FX that was called out in the SOW is MDA, please confirm that a modern equivalent PolyCom is acceptable. A6: Yes. Modern equivalent Polycom is acceptable Q7: Is the requirement for a "PTZ camera with voice tracking" an absolute customer requirement or will a PTZ camera with built-in or even AMX programmable, multiple camera presets be acceptable? A7: Yes, a PTZ camera with built-in or even AMX programmable, multiple camera presets will be acceptable. Q8: Can we substitute the Crestron control system with one from AMX. We assume that a wireless touch panel is preferred. These come in four different sizes... 5.5", 7.5", 8.5" or 10" the larger the size, the more space they take up and they cost more...does the customer have any preference on the size of the touch panel? A8: Yes, 7.5. Q9: Does the customer intend to increase the capabilities (add more video or audio or PCs), in the immediate future? If not, we would recommend decreasing some of the spec's for some of the items. As long as our "substitution or elimination" retains the capabilities of the SOW, is this acceptable? A9: Yes, there are possibilities for future requirements/expansion. In regards to your separate question, as long as your “substitution or elimination” retains the capabilities of the SOW, that is also acceptable. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-SEP-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
