Description
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) intends to purchase a GE Healthcare brand name Vivid i Portable - Echocardiography System. The echoardiography system includes the following GE Healthcare, components: (1) Part # H45021A Vivid i system, the Vivid i, is a miniaturized ultra portable ultrasound system based on the TruScan Architecture common to all GE Ultrasound systems, featuring a powerful PC platform, raw data/DICOM storage with unique post-processing capabilities, record archiving and management, on-board high capacity hard disk storage, and the same software platform, image quality and premium performance found in its leadership systems. A 15" high-quality LCD monitor provides wide-angle visibility with programmable adjustments for optimal image quality under a variety of ambient light conditions. A rechargeable battery provides about 1.0 hours of full scan operation. The standard configuration includes a battery, DVD/CD-RW, ECG module, Echonet Connectivity, Archiving, multiple foci control, Automatic Tissue Optimization, Live Anatomical M Mode, DICOM Media Creator, and Excel File Output, quantity one (1) each. (2) Part # H45021AC, Cardiac Application Module, quantity one (1) each. (3) Part #H4000PD, 3S-RS Phased Array Transducer, wide band multi-frequency transducer with bandwidth between 1.5 and 3.6 MHz Application include: cardiac imaging and screening, abdominal, trauma, and transcranial imaging, quantity one (1). (4) Part # H45021DB, LVO Contrast, LV Contrast enhances delineation of the LV border in combination with ultrasound contrast agents. The new implementation of GE?s Coded Phase Inversion (CPI) provides high resolution detection of contrast in the LV cavity and excellent suppression of myocardial tissue signals, quantity one (1) each. (5), Part #H45021E, DICOM Network Connectivity, Dicom Network Connectivity provides DICOM output to a DICOM server and DICOm Media Interchange. Includes Verification AE , Image Export AE (network storage). Modality Worklist AE. Media Creator, Storage Commitment, Performed procedure set and DICOME print, quantity one (1) each. (6) Part # H45021F, MPEGVue, MPEGvue allows export of MPEG4-compressed records with high quality and small file size, worksheets, and reports onto local storage media or a remote IP address networked to the system. The MPEGvue Player can be installed on any standard PC system. It enables flexible review and simple measurements of high-quality images. The ?Send Email: transparently send patient records via resident Outlook Client to remote destination. Records are encrypted, zipped, and password-protected for security. Long attachments are automatically divided into smaller one sent with consecutive email messages. MPEGvue on the receiving end retrieves all incoming Outlook attachments with the ?Get Email? option and recovers the original record for review, quantity one (1) each. (7) Part #H45021EC, LAN Optical Isolation Box, LAN Optical Isolation Box is required to a wired network interface when the system is connected to the patient, quantity one (1) each. (8) Part #H45021GA, Secondary DVD/CD-RW, External DVD/CD-RW drive, quantity one (1) each. (9) Part # H45021GB, MO Drive 9.1 GB MO Drive, quantity one (1) each. The purchase also includes a trade-in of a Siemens Medical Cypress Portable System S/N 70124. The GE Healthcare, is the only known system that meets the Government?s minimum needs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516, and Size Standard is 500 employees for this requirement. This is not a small business set-aside requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. Interested vendors capable of furnishing the government with the product in this synopsis should submit a quotation to the below address. The quotation shall include the itemized price, commercial price list, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin) Shipping cost, if applicable, business size, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs), and descriptive literature of the product quoted. The Offeror must also register in the Government?s Contractor Registry System, note: www.ccr.gov . The quotation must reference ?Solicitation number? NHLBI-PS-2005-176-DDC. Quotations will be due ten (10) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis or September 29, 2005, 12:00 p.m., local time, whichever is later. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency.
