Description: In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003) The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is publicly announcing the start of a Streamline Competition for Systems Administration. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Dr. Ed Sontag, Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Department of Health and Human Services. The Contracting Officer(CO)is Lisa Schneider. The projected end date of the Competition is December 14, 2005. The functions at NIH include but are not limited to operational planning, operational continuity, systems management, system security, backup and recovery, training, support and documentation. These services are currently provided by 81 Federal Government employees. NIH will issue another notice to announce the decision of the cost comparison on or about December 19, 2005. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME
