Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for Medical Equipment, Supplies, and Services for the following components and in the quantities of each. (1) Pre-Attached Defibrillation Pads - 1 pouch with 2 pads inside- Welch-Allyn, Quantity = 154; (2) Phillips Defibrillation Pads for FR2+AED (2 sets per order of DP-2), Quantity = 2; (3) Program Management and Physician Medical Oversight. (Annual service, per AED. Include: Response Protocols, Prescription for each AED, Program Management which includes web-based tracking of AED, Battery and Pad Expirations. Trained responders also tracked within program management), Quantity = 208; (4) American Heart Association Training Course HeartSaver First Aid, CPR and AED. 6 ?-hour course. Two-year certification period. Textbook for each student. One class of up to 5 participants, Quantity = 78. The acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. ?Simplified Acquisition Procedures?. A solicitation will not be issued. The reference number for Request for Proposal is DEA-05-HR-0060. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334510 ?Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing?. The Small Business Size Standard is 500. All quotes must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. (eastern time) on Thursday, September 22, 2005 to the Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of Acquisition Management, 2401 Jefferson Davis Highway, Alexandria, VA 22301, Attn: Ghazala Shabnam, Contract Specialist. All communications concerning this announcement must be in writing and received by 3:00 p.m. eastern time, no later than 4 calendar days after the publication date of the notice. (Collect calls will not be accepted). No solicitation is available. Closing date is September 22, 2005.
