Description

Synopsis Air Combat Command Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB VA, is planning to purchase non-personal services for mission support for the Foreign Military Sales, International Fighter Programs, Exercises and Aircraft Ferry. The ACC Contracting Squadron proposes to procure Ferry Support Program Management, German Air Force Technical Support, and Exercises Program Management. The period of performance will cover a 9-month base period (1 Jan 06 ?30 Sep 06) with four, one-year options. The government expects to make an award on or about 10 Dec 05, with a performance start date of 1 Jan 06. This acquisition will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 14 Oct 05. The Draft Statement of Work (SOW) will be posted with this synopsis. The Air Force will consider and respond to all inputs received. Industry response is encouraged to ensure all parties have maximum opportunity to participate in this acquisition. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies will not be made available. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541611. The government seeks industry input to determine if this acquisition should be a total small business set-aside under the auspice of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19. Interested small businesses who are certified and qualified as a small business concern in NAICS 541611 are encouraged to respond and submit their notification to this office NLT COB on 30 Sep 05. Responding small businesses may later be required to submit a capabilities package outlining their capabilities in key areas as determined by the government and relevant to the performance of this requirements.
