Description

The 412th Test Wing (412TW), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California intends to award a sole source commercial order to Brandywine Communications. Brandywine Communications is the only found source that produces a card that meets the existing system components. This acquisition is for 5 each, CPCI Univ Synclock, Part Number 011000028; 5 each, 8 CH. GPS Receiver, Mobile APP, Part Number 012000085; and 5 each, Modulated Irig B Output, Part Number 01200004. This action will result in a purchase to support the B-1B program. Brandywine Communications is the only source identified for procurement of this product. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334513 and the size standard is 500. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by 412th TW. The point of contact is Lisa Jackson, 412th TW, Directorate of Contracting, 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Edwards AFB, CA 93524. Responses are due by 21 September 2005, 5 p.m. local Pacific Time via email. Her email address is lisa.jackson@edwards.af.mil. This NOTICE OF CONTRACTING ACTION (NOCA) is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. If this office has not received any affirmative written responses by 5 p.m. local Pacific Time, 21 September 2005, a sole source purchase order will be issued to Brandywine Communications, 2230 S. Fairview Street, Santa Ana, CA 92704-4493.
