Description

We intend to award a contract on a sole source basis in support of the Biometrics Fusion Center to Lockheed Martin Information Technology, 1000 Custer Hollow Rd., Clarksburg, WV 26306. This contract is for operation and maintenance and research and development of the BFC's automated biometric identification system. Lockheed Martin configured this system and has been operating and maintaining it since. They are the only company at this time with adequate familiarity and understanding to perform the required services. This contract will be for a period of 9 months while we build a competitive statement of work and configure technical data packages. We anticipate that a competitive solicitation should be ready in the February/March timeframe.
