Description

Optimizing the Army Advertising Program Department of the Army, Defense Contracting Command-Washington, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, D.C. intends to award a single source contract (IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source) to McKinsey & Company, 55 East 52nd Street, 23rd Floor, New York, NY 10055, for a follow-on contract entitled Optimizing the Army Advertising Program. The U.S. Army requires the services of McKinsey & Company to conduct a study to re-evaluate the Armys marketing management program and best utilize optimum business p ractices to positively impact a downturn in recruiting performance. The statement of objectives shall be to conduct a follow-up review of the Armys implementation of the four (4) initiatives as previous identified in the 1999-2000 timeframe. The contract or shall perform the following objectives; Organizational Improvements, Process Improvements, Research Improvements, and Agency Partnership Improvements. The period of performance of this contract will be for four (4) months. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. This announcement is for informational purposes only.
