Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotatio ns are being requested; and a written solicitation will not be furnished. This notice is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), and this document serves as the solicitation. Solicitation number is W912NS-05-T-0111. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR SM ALL BUSINESS SERVICE DISABLED VETERANS ONLY. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are current through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05. The Government will only consider the brand/models listed below. These exact parts are ne cessary because of compatibility, continuity of training and supplies. It is in the best interest of the Government to keep these types of computers uniform and procuring HP will ensure compatibility. Vendor must be authorized HP distributor. The Govern ment is desirous of procuring HP laptops, switches and adapters with the following specifications. 68 each of Product  HP Compaq Business Notebook nc6230; Operating system  Microsoft XP Professional OEM Service Pack II; Processor  Intel Pentium M 770 ( 2.13GHz); Form factor  Enhanced Mobility; Memory  1024MB 533MHz DDR II SDRAM (2 DIMM); Hard drive  60GB SMART (7200 RPM) Hard Drive; Display  14.1-inch SXGA+ panel; CD-ROM/DVD  MultiBay II DVD+/-RW drive; Modem  56K high speed modem; Wireless hardwar e  No wireless capability needed; Security accessories  Embedded TPM security chip; Battery  6 cell Li-Ion battery; Keyboard  Dualpoint Touchpad and Pointstick; Warranty  3 year worldwide warranty; Additional battery  HP Travel Battery; Carrying case s  Entry nylon case; 9x5 Pickup & return service for notebook with accidental damage protection service, 3 years  electronic; Basic Docking Station; USB Travel Mouse; Network card  Integrated 10/100/1000 NIC; Video memory  64MB Video memory. Requireme nt is ALSO for 4 each of 16-port HP Server Console Switch Rack-Mountable and 7 each of Interface Adapter 8 pack. All items are to be shipped to the following address: Storage and Distribution, Attn: 1LT Ingrid Hawkins, 7001 Range Road, Jefferson City, MO 65101. The requested delivery time is 30 days after receipt of order. Closing date for quotations is Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. (CST). Quotations shall provide a cost, which includes shipping, for a firm fixed price contract. If Vendors are quoting under GSA contract, list contract number. (Note Along with the price and specs, your quote must include the following information or your quote may not be considered: warranty and delivery information; federal tax ID number; CCR information ( DUNS number and CAGE code); Payment method (EFT or Government Credit Card); completion of Clause 52.212-3; If no history with this agency, submit three (3) references with include agency name, contacts name, and telephone number or email address. In acc ordance with FAR Clause 52.212-2, Evaluation Factors are Technical Qualifications, Authorized HP dealer (may be required to submit proof of authorization), Past Performance (equal in rating value), Delivery Date, and Cost. Award will be made based on BEST VALUE to the Government. The Government intends to evaluate quotations and award a contract without discussion. However, Government reserves the right to conduct discussions, if determined to be necessary. Should discussions be deemed necessary, they w ill be conducted either orally or in writing with offerors who are determined to be in the competitive range. The offeror will be given an opportunity to correct the deficiency and resubmit the offer. The following provisions and clauses apply to project .
