Description: The work includes construction of a Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC) Building, an Administration Building, an Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS) addition, construction of parking and drives, landscaping, demolition of 9 wood framed str uctures, related site and utility work, and incidental related work. The Admin Building is approximately 13,490 square feet. The Admin Building is a one story brick veneer building with steel frame, exterior masonry bearing walls, a standing seam metal roo f, HVAC, electrical, and communication systems. The Admin Building houses offices, toilets, showers, lockers, classroom, an arms vault, a medical aid station, and caged storage areas. The PLDC building is approximately 53,210 square feet. The PLDC Building is a two story brick veneer building with steel frame, precast concrete plank floor, exterior masonry bearing walls, a standing seam metal roof, HVAC, electrical, and communication systems. The PLDC building houses offices, toilets, classrooms, storage ar eas, an elevator, billets (sleeping rooms), a computer lab, and a self-service laundry. OMS Building Addition is approximately 1560 square feet. The OMS Building Addition is a pre-engineered addition to an existing metal building and includes alteration to the existing building. The OMS building addition houses a vehicle maintenance workbay, and storage areas. OMS Building addition has heating, ventilation, and electrical services, vehicle exhaust system, and an oil/water separator. Building demolition requ ires abatement of lead based paint and asbestos containing building materials. Meeting sustainable design goals is part of the Work. This is a Low Price Technically Acceptable Procurement, Full and Open Competition, subject to the Price Evaluation Prefere nce for HubZone Small Business Concerns. Proposal will be evaluated on Prime Contractor Construction Experience, Prime Contractor Construction Past Performance and Past Performance on Utilization of Small, Small Disadvantaged and Women Owned Small Business es. NAICS 236220. Approximate issue date is 3 October 2005 and approximate closing date is 2 November 2005, 4:00 pm, local time. Estimated Price Range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.
