Description

PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO MANUFACTURE, TEST AND DELIVER 12,000 GALLON OF GROUP 1, TURBINE LUBRICATION TO LIBBY DAM POWERHOUSE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK AND SPECIFICATION DATED 15 SEPTEMBER 2005.Com patibility: Contractor will be required to assure that new turbine oil is compatible with old (existing) turbine oil at Libby Dam. Herguth Laboratories test (HL-1193) is an acceptable method of testing for compatibility. Other test methods can be prop osed to the Corps of Engineers for consideration and approval. Corps of Engineers will supply the contractor with samples of the existing turbine oil so that the compatibility tests can be perform.TESTING: Before shipment the contractor will be required to have the turbine lubricating oil tested by a Certified Independent Laboratory to assure oil meets the attached specifications and submit findings (results) to the Corps of Engineers for acceptance. Test results must be documented by the testing lab and be certified and signed by the Labs designee. PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO SUPPLY AND DELIVER 200 GALLONS OF DETERGENT SYSTEM CLEANER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK AND SPECIFICATION DATED 15 SEPTEMBER 200 5. (DETERGENT MUST BE NON-REACTIVE TO BUNA-N, O-RINGS, HOSES, BABBITT AND TIN BEARINGS).REQUESTING THE CONTRACTOR TO SUPPLY ARMY CORP OF ENGINEER APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR THE DETERGENT SYSTEM CLEANER WITH THE QUOTE.Period of performance will be 12,000 gallons of Turbine Lubricating oil and 200 gallons of Detergent System Cleaner shall be delivered on or before 1 Dec 2005.
