- The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service anticipates to enter into a contract on a sole-source basis with the City of Fergus Falls, MN to acquire sewer and water utility connections for a new facility located on County Highway 82. The contractor will be required to acquire appropriate easements and complete installation of the sewer and water lines, associated manholes, turnoffs, hydrants and other equipment, as well as hookup to the City's existing sewer and water utilities. All work will be required to comply with the City's standards, who will ultimately approve and maintain the connection site. Completion of the work will be expedited in order to provide utilities to the site prior to fall construction. The estimated cost of the project is between $200,000 to $275,000. This notice is published and the requirement is permitted as a sole source action in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(3). Any qualified firm who wishes to challenge this determination may indicate their interest and submit a statement of qualifications to the contracting officer, Ms. Cathy L.
