Description: The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make award to the Wyndham Phoenix Downtown and the Nashville Airport Marriott for rental of conference and meeting facilities. These facilities have been identified as the only conference centers that can accommodate 2 USGS conferences scheduled for 10/31-11/03-2005 and 11/14-17-2005, respectively. Additionally, they are the only 2 conference centers identified in Phoenix and Nashville that can accommodate the size of the conference (110 individuals) and the breakout sessions. Any vendor who believes that they offer conference facilities that are equal or exceed the ones listed above should contact the USGS contracting officer at 703 648-7388 by COB on Wednesday September 21, 2005.
