Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement for Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Collins Class Towed Array Processors (CTAP). These CTAPs will provide Australia with upgrades from existing acoustic systems using COTS hardware, spares, and CTAP-unique software developed by Digital System Resources, Inc., Suite 500, 12450 Fair Lakes Circle, Fairfax, VA 22033, under the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program. CTAPs are intended to be installed on six RAN Collins Class submarines and at tow shore facilities. The proposed effort will provide for production and delivery of eight (8) CTAP systems, one (1) Installation Trainer, eight (8) CTAP spares, and eight (8) Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMSs). This effort shall also include documentation, training, and installation support. NAVSEA has determined it is in the government?s best interest to solicit this effort from General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems acting through Digital System Resources, Inc., Suite 500, 12450 Fair Lakes Circle, Fairfax, VA 22033. This is expected to be a two-year effort. See Numbered Note 22.
