Description

Subject to final approval, the Bureau of The Public Debt intends to acquire on a sole-source basis from BMC Software 2101 City West Blvd, Houston, TX 77042 for IT Focus Group Training consisting of Control D and Control M classes. BMC Software Services are the owners of this intellectual property and have proprietary rights to all training materials. Training is to be conducted at BPD?s training facility located in Parkersburg, WV. The Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Services are being solicited and awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR 13.5. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response. Written responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide the requirement at terms more advantageous to the Government. Public Debt will consider all written responses received no later than 2:00 p.m. EDT, September 21,2005. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that it is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole-source award to BMC Software. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
